Let’s help you
plan your journey
Explore responsibly, discover offbeat places, guided by locals, rooted in culture.
Rajasthan is India's largest state by area, in the northwest of the country, with the Thar Desert across much of its west. Its capital is Jaipur.
Its regions each have their own character. Marwar has Jodhpur and Jaisalmer, and Mewar has Udaipur and Chittorgarh. Shekhawati is known for its painted havelis, and Hadoti and the east have Ranthambore and Bundi. Six hill forts, Jaipur's walled city and Keoladeo National Park are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The Pushkar fair, Gangaur, Teej and many more festivals fill the calendar.
The best time to visit Rajasthan is October to March, when the days are warm and the nights are cool. Summer, from April to June, is very hot.
Pollen Dots plans customised journeys anywhere in Rajasthan, with local guides and stays. Browse the journeys and stories below, or write to us to plan a journey around what you want to see.
